South Africa is often described as “the world in one country” making it the ideal place to enjoy our super popular South African Road trip. Travelling from Cape Town to Durban over 6 weeks, this trip stops off at 6 of our favorite South African locations.
Each stop is completely different giving you the chance to experience, what feels like 6 mini trips all in one. Whether it is climbing table mountain, conquering the world’s highest bungee in Plett, catching a perfect wave in J-bay, going back in time in Coffee Bay or ordering your first custom surfboard at the Clayton factory in Durban, this trip is an African Road Trip you’ll never forget!!

Putting something back into the local community is a central part of each Rider’s experience in South Africa and overall adventure with Ticket to Ride. Each project underlines Ticket to Ride’s commitment to having a positive impact on the local community whilst also giving you the chance to do your bit for the local community.
The TTRide South Africa course gives you the opportunity to involve yourself in a number of on going community projects that are either founded or supported by the Ticket to Ride Foundation on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

Ticket to Ride Community Projects include:
• Township Football Coaching.
• Helping out at the township day care centre teaching.
• Teaching local township children how to surf.
• Ensuring that the schools are able to offer its children proper meals.
• Helping with localised environmental projects.
• Surfing with street kids.
Cape Town: Settle in, master the basics and help in the townships.
Plettenberg Bay: Enjoy the Garden Route at its best.
Jeffrey's Bay: Surf world-class waves and teach in the local school.
Coffee Bay: Go back in time and enjoy simple South Africa.
Durban: Enjoy the buzz of South Africa’s ‘Surf City.’
Ballito: Escape the crowds and enjoy punchy waves breaking in tropically warm water.
Plettenberg Bay: Enjoy the Garden Route at its best.
