7 days of your trip will be spent in the beautiful beach town of Ponta D’ Ouro. Punta D’ Ouro lies at the southern tip of Mozambique, only six and a half hours away from Johannesburg. A stone's throw from the border, this quiet and tranquil town has long had a reputation for it's marine life, long sandy beaches and its natural charms. With an abundance of marine life, Dolphins and whales sightings are regular. Ponta D' Ouro is a bay protected by a sandbank from the open ocean and has one of the best sand bottomed right hand point breaks in the world with just you and few friends to share the magic.

The air holidays and flights provided by Basecamp are ATOL protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) number 10318 granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
