The August Newsletter Question for a free place on either our Surf Yoga Weekend 12-13 September or one of our Performance Surf Camps both held down at the Ticket to Ride Surf Academy this september.
As usual lots of entries however this time one clear winner...

"That is an easy one...If I lived in the sea I would be a luminous pink sea monkey named Emilio. Together with my entrusted Manta ray sea board I would police the sea cretins and take over the sea world. In my sea kingdom I would preach to all my monstrous and magnificent sea dwellers the delicacies and delights of my once tree-bound existence... THE POWER OF THE BANANA! I would magically concoct a spell that would make it compulsory to eat bananas in preference to human beings so if any hungry croc or shark was lucky enough to come across a sumptuous surfer treat- no morsel of mortal flesh would be shed in preference to the mighty magnificence of the monkey mantas banana. Surfers need have no fear for as long as they consulted the surf etiquette guide lines they would see the no 1 warning that every surfer dude should know- never go surfing without a banana in your pocket. So just as Hansel and Gretal once wished they had a guardian monkey to warn them about the pebbles superlative power over bread crumbs, Surfers in turn would praise the magical might of monkey manta Emilio and for his hydraulic hypnotic hymn that praises the superlatative succulence of bananas and condemns any carnal desire of sinking teeth into flimsy flesh! So this is a call to all surfers alike to pick me and pray for the magical metamorphoses of the perhaps not so mythical monkey Emilio whose existence would surely not be debated on the far shores of Santa Teresa where barrelling surfers can be seen peeling bananas for their teethy shark shaddows below!"

"Although it's a total cliche I would be a Dolphin because they seem like they think everything is fun and I reckon there's a lot banter between them and the other fish! They're really quick in the water, they surf without a board and everyone thinks they're really cool...plus I generally sound like them after a few glasses of wine!"
