Those of you who follow our Blogs and Facebook groups will have seen the establishment of the Ticket to Ride Foundation in Cape Town over the last few weeks.

The Foundation has been set up by former head of SA Operations Tim Conibear and is now fully operational and running in the township of Masiphumelele, Cape Town.

Together with Thomas, long term friend and co-worker of Ticket to Ride, the Foundation has been coaching soccer, surfing and swimming to the kids of Kolobe Street as well as running a twice weekly soup kitchen to keep the kits fit and healthy.

The Foundation is small and Tim and Thomas have opened up a limited amount of places for people to get involved and have an intimate, hands-on experience of running of a small charity in Cape Town.
