Last Saturday saw the pre summer 2009 Ticket to Ride Rider Reunion go off in style. Riders from the very first TTRide Surf Adventure through to Riders from our most recent 2009 courses made the journey (from as far Guernsey) down to the launch of the Ticket to Ride Surf Academy.

Catching up with Riders from past TTRide Surf Adventures is something that all of us here at Ticket to Ride look forward to"Nikki Leadbetter - Ticket to Ride Rider Recruitment.

The weekend was blessed with good waves and bright sunshine lasting into the night that kicked off with a BBQ and a few drinks and went into the early hours.

The majority Graduates from past TTRide South Africa courses are to be found down in the South West durijng the summer months, as they are able to use their Surf Instructor and Beach Lifeguard qualifications to take up surf instructor positions at schools throughout the UK.

Polzeath is famed to be one of the UK's busiest learn to surf beaches and is home to 2 of the UK's largest surf schools. Summer 2009 sees no less than 7 TTRide South Africa graduates working on Polzeath beach as surf coaches for the summer. TTRide Graduate Surf coaches are known throughout the UK learn to surf industry as friendly, hard working, knowledgeable and approachable members of their coaching teams.

Next reunion is set for the first weekend of September which crosses over with our a Rider day on the saturday for Riders gearing up to join their up and coming Ticket to Ride Surf Adventures in either South Africa,Mozambique or Costa Rica.
