Our first volunteer for 2010 flew home after a great 4 weeks with us here in Cape Town.

Joe's 4 weeks with us here in Cape Town has allowed us to dramatically expand our projects and the work we are doing. In return, we hope we gave him a 4 week stay that he'll always remember. He was with the kids everyday teaching football, netball, swimming, surfing, English and helping us organise the football and netball friendlies.

When we were out of Masi we were surfing and took in many differing beaches as the changing weather patterns dictated. We also spent a great weekend in a farm house at one of the coast's lesser known surf spots where we scored great empty waves and braais out under the stars.

We hope it was a 4 week South African experience that he'll never forget. The kids and Thomas miss him already.
