Accommodation and Food
Our volunteers will stay in beachside accommodation in Kommetjie, an area just south of the center of Cape Town. Each day your breakfast and supper will be included at the hostel. You will need to buy your own lunch as throughout the day you will be away from the hostel, spending your time working with the children or surfing.
Transport
Airport Transfer, to Kommetjie, if required - provided this is in a designated arrivals and departures window.
All necessary transport in and around Cape Town whilst taking part in community work or for organised surf trips.
All transport whilst on the African Surfari.
African Surfari
A four day African Surfari will be organised for the TTRide Volunteers at some point during their stay with us in Cape Town. All the accommodation, transport and coaching is included in the Surfari. Please note that food is not included and you will need to buy food throughout the four days.
24/7 Support
You will recieve 24/7 support from TTRide HQ leading up to your departure. This will include chatting to you in thorough detail about the volunteer placements and giving you advice on flights, Cape Town as a destination and anything else that you need to know in order to prepare you for you time as a volunteer.
Whilst out in Cape Town, Tim will give you his full support and will be there to mentor you and make sure that your happy and getting the most out of your time as a volunteer.

Flights - Flight to Cape Town - Flights can be bought for around £400-£600. Following your booking our STA Travel team will help organise your flight to South Africa, and where ever else you want to go.
Personal Travel Insurance - Around £110-£150.
Equipment for free surfing - In South Africa you can expect to pay:
Surf Board - £120-£160
Wetsuit - £50-£100
Lunch - Lunch is not included and you will need to buy your own each day. Cape Town is cheap and you shouldn't expect to pay more than £3 a day.
