I had such an awesome time! A lot better than I had originally thought. From not surfing at all before the trip to now being a qualified lifesaver and surfing instructor, is pretty awesome and still a wee bit unbelievable! Along with the great trip stops were the surf spots we went to. The waves were awesome most of the time and thanks to our trip leader Bevan he always knew exactly where to go. So overall it was a life changing experience and I’ve met some great friends and we’ve already started planning for another surf trip sometime next year! I feel like we’ll be pretty close friends for a very long time. It was an awesome trip and I recommend it to anyone wanting a gap year, to travel the South African coastline and of course learn to surf with top surfing coaches.
