Surfing South Africa (SSA) run the ISA level 1 courses. SSA is South African surfing's governing body. Ticket to Ride have and continue to work with SSA in getting the best courses possible run for our aspiring surf coaches.

SSA adopted the ISA level 1 course several years ago which is what we therefore offer on our trips. We are confident that it is the best and most internationally recognised course that one can do and are proud to be able to offer it on our trips.

In compliance with the UK Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel & General Insurance Company plc to protect customers’ prepayments paid in respect of non-flight inclusive packages commencing and returning to the UK, offered in this document (subject to the terms of the insurance policy), for a refund of such prepayments if customers have not yet travelled in the unlikely event of our financial failure.
 

ATOL Protected

The air holidays and flights provided by Basecamp are ATOL protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) number 10318 granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
