Learn to surf with Etienne Venter. Etienne boasts one of the most complete coaching C.V's of any surf coach worldwide and is lucky enough to ply his trade on the legendary waves at Jeffreys Bay. Etienne is a level 3 accredited instructor and is a former South African Team Coach. You are in very good hands here. You will also be constantly taught by your trip leaders and have a great chance to surf some of the most famous waves on the planet...
Get involved with the local community projects that are run at Island Vibe Backpackers. You will get the chance to get involved in some surf lessons, beach clean up and help out at a local school. It all depends on what the local scheme is, but its a very worthwhile experience and something our riders never forget.
